Donations in Honor of Gloria Sue Miller White
Gloria Sue Miller White, a 65 year old Attorney from Edmond, OK passed from this world on May 24th 2018 in Bwindi National Park, Uganda. She was fulfilling a lifelong dream of observing mountain gorillas with her husband of 37 years Dr. Gary Lynn White.
Gloria was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend. She used her extremely strong will and legal training to defend and assist anyone in need and felt particularly strongly about the education and support of women. Gloria was an avid traveler with a goal to visit all 7 continents having traveled North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia, Africa made 6. Those fortunate enough to have known Gloria will likely remember her best for her unyielding love and passion for her family and friends which were her greatest joy.
The White family has been deeply touched by the kindness of the people of Uganda following the incident. The support and compassion offered by Sister Rosemary, who visited Gary and ensured he was surrounded by strength and love while in Uganda is a shining example of all things Gloria held dear. It is fitting that any contributions in her honor be made to Sewing Hope Foundation as Gloria was herself an accomplished seamstress.
On behalf of the White family, thank you for your gift.
